The drawing finds compositional affinities with the series of stories of the evangelists painted for the oratory of San Lorenzino in the parish church of Pietole (Mantua) published by Sergio Marinelli (1) as attributed to Teodoro Ghisi but probably attributable to Malpizzi; in particular with the composition "Destruction of the Temple of Diana".
