Cambiaso depicted this same subject multiple times; there are, in fact, four stylistically close drawings published by Suida in the 1958 monograph on the artist: the Christ Scourged in the Albertina, the Christ at the Column in Princeton, and the two Scourging of Christ in the Uffizi. Although these sheets feature various figures other than Christ, the posture and the execution of Jesus' body are remarkably similar in all of them, as can be seen, for example, in the detail of the foot resting on the ground.
