Cambiaso, Tiepolo, Gandolfi, Appiani and other Old Masters

By Cortona Fine Art

In light of the recently eased health emergency safety measures, we are glad to propose again the exhibition The Power of Drawings at the Cortona Fine Art gallery.

Cortona Fine Art will exhibit nineteen important Old Master Drawings by masters such as Luca Cambiaso (Moneglia 1527 - El Escorial 1585), Giovan Battista Tiepolo (Venezia 1696 - Madrid 1770), Ubaldo Gandolfi (San Matteo della Decima, Bologna 1728 - Ravenna 1781) and Andrea Appiani (Milano 1754-1817). A great number of the sheets to be exhibited carry noteworthy artistic and historic stories.

The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue published by Edifir Firenze and edited by the art historian Luca Fiorentino. The detailed essays for each sheet, in Italian and English, will no doubt satisfy both collectors and enthusiasts of Old Master drawings.
